My new daily practice is to write a blog post a day.
For years I’ve written Morning Pages, a practice given to me through the teachings of Julia Cameron in her book The Artist’s Way.
The idea is that by showing up and creating on a daily basis, we are able to overcome our creative blocks and, eventually, access the inner clarity that many of us long for.
Whether you identify as an artist or writer or not, Morning Pages are a simple and profound way to get to know yourself.
So, while I do my Morning Pages for myself, I am writing this blog for you.
My hope is that over the coming days, weeks, months, and years, I am able to share with you the things I have learned and am currently learning.
About finding the magic in the mundane.
About rewriting the parts of your story that are no longer serving you.
About feeling what needs to be felt and expressing it in a way that allows you to be seen.
I’ll do my best to keep each post short and specific.
To share what I’m reading and who I’m following.
To be generous.
To be truthful.
And, most importantly, to give you somewhere to land, to take a breath, and to take a break from the noise. This blog is for you if you choose to make it yours.
So, please reach out and let me know what you’re hungry for. What you’re longing for. The questions that you’re asking.
