Move with ease.
Weekly foundation practices help you get back into your body so you can source the wisdom and support that’s available to you there. They are designed to be easy to action and accessible to all bodies.
Where can you find greater ease of movement in your day?
Practice: Move With Ease
As you make your way through your day, I want you to find greater ease of movement.
If you’re walking, look for the negative space that you can fill. Flow around people, things, and obstacles.
If you’re on wheels or in a wheelchair, do the same thing. Look for ways to put less effort into propelling yourself forward. Let yourself coast.
If you need to move slowly, let that inform how you look for clear paths for yourself. Stay grounded in your body as you move at a pace that feels right for you.
Before starting this practice—before entering an environment where you’ll be moving through people, places, and/or things—take a deep inhale. Drop your awareness into your body. Notice how you’re feeling energetically. Exhale and dive into the flow.
