This week’s poem is by Dana Levin. I chose this poem because it’s whimsical and felt. It resonated with me as I have been trying to think my way out of a lot of challenges recently. The part about that someone with a pin relieving the pressure in my thoughts is a welcome visual.
Does your head or your heart need to lead you right now?
is like a house
with a brain inside. Another place
tango and spar—
you lean out, releasing
On the roof
someone stands ready
with a pin—
